Ideal Way

Karma Yoga is about discharging your duty without any like or dislike on the outcome which is left to God. Naturally, such person gets liberated from his actions or karma.

But KarmaSanyasa or SankyaYoga or GnanaYoga, is about renouncing the duty and indulging in the mental or spiritual activities like penance, poojas, rituals, to seek God.

KarmaYoga is superior to Karma Sanyasa yoga as it is simple to practice even by ordinary people.

A person cannot practice both the methods simultaneously: as their approaches differ towards the same goal of reaching God. However, Karma yoga leads to SanysaYoga over a period of time as the individual is inclined more towards worship of God. Through repeated and selfless discharge of duties unmindful of fruits of such actions, a person gets  pure mind and aims.

But it is very difficult to practice SanyasaYoga without adhering to the KarmaYoga. Moreover, a Karmayogi reaches the God faster as he thinks of and worships God beside discharge of duties to others including those practising Sanyasa yoga.

The Sanyasi or Gnani knows clearly that he does not do anything,  but his actions are the interplay of the virtues or gunas in the nature .

The Karma yogi always thinks that God is his soul or atma and he acts as per God's wishes. This likens to the Lotus leaf remaining on the water for its life but at the same time, it doesn't get wet.

One's own nature arising from guans, singly or in combinations, alone creates all the duties, bondage, and effects of life. So, God is never responsible for the good or bad done by us.
